Trattoria San Lorenzo, via Borgo San Lorenzo 53r, 50123 Firenze

About us

The San Lorenzo trattoria is a historical restaurant in Florence that combines the traditional and the contemporary in an original and detailed way.
The restaurant overlooks the Basilica of San Lorenzo, one of the oldest churches in the city (4th century), in an area away from traffic, so the area is frequented daily by travellers from all around the world in search of the true spirit of ancient Florence.
The large windows that overlook the square create a continuous dialogue between the colours, the lights, the music of the restaurant and the life of the square, creating a unique experience for those who decide to stop here.

At guests’ disposal there are also tables located down on the cobblestones of the square (Reservation for these tables is highly recommended as they’re the first to be chosen by the guests!).

The San Lorenzo restaurant serves traditional Tuscan dishes with a contemporary twist which is also very much appreciated by many Florentines who choose this restaurant daily to taste the flavours of Tuscany with a modern interpretation.

The trattoria has chosen to only serve their guests Tuscan wines.

Our restaurant is attentive to everyone’s needs and is fully wheelchair accessible.
